10-weeks of live interactions
Go deep into relationship and make lasting connections.
Love relationships and community can not be solved separately, but must be approached as mutually symbiotic co-arisings as part of a larger social ecology.
The course will be a collaborative, living education ecology spanning 10 weeks of pre-recorded modules, live group sessions lead by the filmmakers, and smaller integration pod meetings with creative “homework” and ritual assignments.
So much unnecessary suffering on the journey of liberation within relationships + community could be avoided if more people had access to this course. The fundamentals presented in these modules provide a roadmap to sustainably navigating the edge of culture. I found this course to be so significant, that the first thing I did when I completed it was invite my community to form a focused study group around these resources. With so much depending on the health of our relational ecosystems at this time, I can’t recommend The Forbidden Fruit course more.
meet your guides
Hi, we’re John Wolstone, Ian Mackenzie, and Julia Maryanska - the filmmakers behind The Village of Lovers.
We’ve often joked that making this film over the past decade was our equivalent of getting a PHD in Love, Eros and Intentional Community, and now we’re excited to have finally organized our learnings from Tamera and many other lineages these past years into this groundbreaking course.
We created this course to. help other lovers unlock the fundamental powers of love and eros in the context of a thriving community.
We believe that partnership (or other love relationships) and community are not at odds, but a symbiotic co-arising that we must tend together, if we want a more beautiful, safe and pleasurable world for ourselves and all kin.
We will meet bi-weekly, 5 times for group dialogue, teaching and Q&A sessions following the 5 core themes. Pod call times are TBD by pod members.
The course will be a combination of self-study modules, all-group teaching and dialogue calls, and small group integration pods which will meet bi-weekly, where guided prompts, and emergent inquiries will create spaces of integration, applied learning, mutual support and new friendships, collaboration, and perhaps even the seeds of future village. Groups will be clustered based on shared geography, creating more surface area for possible in-person weavings.
This course will be training how to build a powerful inter-relational web of support around you, where you will share your learning, receive questions and feedback. During the experience you will be invited to join an intimate pod where you can make connections and integrate your experience.
This is a 10-week. guided interactive experience that will run from June 26 - August 21, 2024. You will continue to have lifetime access to the course if you would like to take more time or want to review the material deeper.
You’ll have lifetime access to the course, so you can feel free to break up the modules according to your schedule, and repeat videos to let the content sink in deeper.
Please, please, talk to your friends about these tools and perspectives. Our deepest desire is to build a global culture around the revitalization of rites of passage and adulthood initiation.
